Ben's Homestay

I’ve been coming back for years, and Ben, his wife Putu and their son Putu are some of the kindest people I’ve met in more than five years in Bali. They treat you like family, so staying here feels that way too. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well kept, and the location is an easy walk from Ubud center. Their lush garden is beautiful and clearly cared for. It’s a real Ubud experience. Thank you for everything you’ve done and still do 💚

During my two months in Bali I stayed in lots of different places, and this was easily the most beautiful. The scenery and garden feel magical, with a special energy. My room matched the pictures and was clean and cozy, with a nice bathroom for a change. There’s also a lovely balcony to relax on, and it makes the place feel like an apartment.

It feels like a little paradise at Ben’s Homestay. The family is so friendly and helpful, and the location is right in the center but surprisingly quiet and peaceful.

It’s set in a lovely garden at the back, so the place is very peaceful, yet restaurants and supermarkets are close by. We booked two rooms for our group of three, one upstairs and one on the ground floor. The upstairs room was clean and comfortable, while the ground-floor room looked nice but smelled strongly damp. We spoke to the friendly owners and, fortunately, switched to another upstairs room after the first night.
