We all slept really well here. The hotel was quiet, and our rooms were spacious, spotless, and had very comfortable beds. At breakfast there was a buffet with a good hot selection, plus pastries, breads, cereals, fruit, tea, and coffee. We had originally booked for a Tina Turner Tribute act, but she sadly took ill, so we went into town instead and found a great bar with live music. When we got back, the staff were friendly and accommodating. Special mention to Damien and PJ, who were especially friendly. The Shamrock Hotel has lovely grounds, is family run, and well located. I'd recommend it and plan to return.

We had a meal here for our son's christening, and our guests all commented on the fabulous food. Service was excellent, as it always is, with plenty of staff around and everyone helpful and friendly. It's lovely having such a consistently good hotel in town. Thanks to Paddy, Alan, and all the staff.

A year after our wedding, we celebrated our first anniversary with a three-course meal in the bistro at the Shamrock lodge hotel. Ruby served us and was so friendly and smiley. The food was out of this world, and the staff made us feel like royalty all over again. We always feel at home here. Five stars all round, and I'd give more if I could. Thanks, guys x ❤️

The staff made our New Year's Eve stay with a big family, especially with young children. Reception gave the kids selection boxes when we arrived, the manager brought us champagne for the bells, and the bar and wait staff were all so friendly. Service was 10/10. I'd highly recommend it for couples and young families.

I only came in for lunch, not as a hotel guest. The public spaces looked clean and well maintained, with nice decor. Staff were friendly and service was good. The lunch menu was limited, but the food was fresh and tasty.
