The location and property are beautiful, and it could make for a lovely short stay. But in my experience, across three occasions, even small problems with a current stay or a future booking have brought out a chaotic side of the hostess. If you want that kind of low-level absurdity, Seascape may suit you. If professionalism matters to you, I'd look elsewhere. I hear mini cafe is quite nice.

We were sorry to leave after such a short visit. Michelle and her husband made the stay feel luxurious and far better than we'd expected, with a great breakfast and lovely conversation. It was an instantly relaxing little retreat in sleepy Laxey, and I can't wait to return.

The house has beautiful, far-reaching views over Laxey Bay, and Michelle and Glen made us feel very welcome. We've stayed here twice now and will definitely book again. Amazing place!

I paid £285 for one night, but the room wasn't at an acceptable standard and the place was a mess. I arrived for my 21st Birthday, left within an hour, and asked for a full refund. It completely ruined my Birthday, and my boyfriend was very upset since he'd been planning it for us for a long time. After telling others what happened, I've realised other people have had similar problems. Not worth your time or money.
