The bathroom nearly made me puke. The room was in a very bad state and hadn't been cleaned. When I pointed that out, they just said, “adjust sir.” The pictures show the room as I got it: they’d only put a bedsheet over it and hadn’t even replaced the pillows. I’d never come back.
For that location, this place is good value for money.
We were fed up with complaining by the end of our eight-day stay, and I wouldn't refer anyone to Pearl Guest House. They managed to provide the complimentary breakfast on only five of those days. In our first room, the light was inadequate, the hand shower was broken, there were mosquitoes everywhere, and the AC didn't work. After two days they moved us to another room, where the washroom had no water supply for a day.
I spent three nights here and can't understand how anyone could give this pathetic hotel three stars. On the first day there was a power cut, and they only changed my room after I asked about it. The next day they moved me again. That room was dusty, the TV remote was broken, and the washbasin and exhaust fan looked like they belonged in poorly maintained public toilets. The man at reception gave me a pathetic response every time I approached him. This place isn't fit for even one star. Avoid it.
The front desk wouldn't help us find alternative parking. When we asked to see the room, they said there was no point if we couldn't park the car, so there was no need to check it. It was a waste of time, and I'll give Oyo the same feedback. There is no parking here, so it's not suitable if you're arriving in your own car.
