Mirasol Resort

The water park was awesome, and we also enjoyed the boating and mini train. It’s a fun adventure spot right beside the beach, with spacious rooms, very good food across several cuisines, and great service. My only gripe is that those activities cost extra. They should be part of the room tariff. Still, a very good experience.

The room could’ve used a few basics: there was no shaving kit, and the balcony had no chairs to sit and enjoy the view. Room service was a little slow at times, and the food seemed pricey. The driving area floor also needs maintenance. Even with those issues, I had a pleasant, memorable weekend at Mirasol Resort. The surroundings are lovely, with open spaces and a relaxing atmosphere that made it a great short getaway. Rating: 4/5.

There are open party plots for gatherings, and they can provide all kinds of beverages. The water park is on the campus too. I didn’t visit it myself, but it looked decent. Mirasol resort also had comfortable, clean rooms with nice views, great food blending local and global flavors, and staff who were ready to help. The service felt thoughtful, and the stay was home-like. A perfect stay, with beautiful rooms and incredible food. A good place for parties.

The lake is open to outside visitors for a small fee, and it’s worth seeing. The water park is a separate entity, so you don’t need to stay at the resort for that. I booked Mirasol for the water park, but nobody told us it would be closed during our stay. I’ve visited a few times before, when this used to be a really good property in Daman. This time was peak season, and the hospitality and management were a menace. It felt like following the hotel’s directives instead of being on holiday. The cutlery was soiled, the ice buckets dented, and the mattresses old and dirty. I paid almost 3000 rs for an extra person, but they refused to provide water or a mattress. After I insisted, they brought an old, thin, torn mattress, and there were no cots. Staff were arrogant and hid behind hotel policy. I’d urge people to look elsewhere, such as cidade de daman, silver waves, or praveg. Their service and quality are much better, and the stay feels more like a holiday. I wouldn’t recommend Mirasol at present. I can’t imagine what it’s like in the off season.
