Misty Lake Guest House

The owner was a helpful, nice gentleman, and I got a better, hassle-free deal booking directly rather than through a website. The breakfast is included in the very, very modest room rate, though they could offer more choices. My room was huge, bigger than a five-star hotel room, and had a balcony. The peaceful location has plenty of parking, with a chemist, general stores, and good restaurants within walking distance. The only problem I personally had was that the hotel attendants couldn’t speak Hindi or English, but they were nice people. If you’re after good accommodation on a decent budget around Gachbowli/financial district, or just want to spend time away from the city, I highly recommend this place.

The rooms at Misty Lake Guest House are roomy and have the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. I also enjoyed the food, with different dishes to suit different tastes. The place itself feels calm and tucked into pretty surroundings, a nice break from city life. Inside, the decor is elegant but cozy, with a homely feel, and the staff were very courteous and ready to help. A lovely spot to rest and recharge in nature.

I had paid for the resort a week ahead, but they cancelled my room just four hours before check-in. The staff were good, but this kind of last-minute cancellation doesn't work when you have fixed plans and a schedule. I'm really upset with the service this time.

The location near the misty lake, with green views and a roomy veranda, was a highlight for me. Inside, the place felt welcoming, with beautiful interiors, well-ventilated rooms and marble stone floors. We had high-speed WiFi and kitchen facilities too. The caretaker, Mr. Many, was polite and greeted us with a smile. I liked my stay and would come back if I visit Hyderabad.
