OYO 38124 Vivek Sagara Beach Resort

It feels more like a private beach house, with a quiet, peaceful setting away from the crowds and close to the sunset point. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and pets are allowed. A good fit if you want some privacy.

We got there around 4:30 in the morning on 21 February, after travelling more than 3,000 km from Guwahati with my family. The place was remote and far from the proper sights, and nobody was there to let us in. The doors were locked. We waited, called reception through the OYO app, and rang the bell 20-25 times, but no one came. We had nowhere to go at that hour. I’d say never book this hotel, and don’t book through OYO either. Ask local people to show you nearby hotels, then choose a 2-, 3-, or 4-star place that suits you.

The receptionists were really helpful, and the place felt clean, orderly, and safe. It’s near both the sunset and sunrise viewpoints. The AC worked fine, though there was no geyser.

The staff were helpful whenever we needed them, and privacy was a real plus. It’s a good resort for families or friends, with a nice beach view. There aren’t any nearby shops. The resort is about 1.5 km from Kanyakumari Bagathi amman temple, and close to the bus stand, Bay watch theme park, and sunset point.
