Oyo 24671 Hotel Park Inn

I booked an AC room from 7 am to 7 pm and was quoted 1800, plus a 250 early check-in fee. Once I arrived, I waited quite a while before anyone came to the front desk, and then they said the early check-in charge was 500 more. I paid the full amount and went to the room. It had the AC as promised and the Wi-Fi worked, but everything else was a mess. I won't list it all here. The room hadn't been cleaned or inspected, the staff seemed more focused on tips and commissions than service, and the food on site was awful. There are better, cheaper places to stay in the Park Street area.

The staff were polite and efficient, and the rooms were okay. The geyser and TV both worked, and the hotel is budget friendly. There's parking for three or four vehicles, a pleasant atmosphere, and the surroundings feel peaceful enough for a family stay. There isn't a restaurant, but plenty of restaurants are right beside it. The rooms should have dustbins, though, and the exhaust fan wasn't working.

It's moderately priced, and the rooms are usually quiet, apart from prayers from a nearby mosque. The hotel is in a shady area, with no restaurants nearby. It does provide food at a decent price, but it doesn't taste good. Room service is just okay, the rooms have no real interior decoration, and the internet is decent but flaky rather than fast. For business, bring your own device such as Photon+, since the hotel Wi-Fi is unreliable. The airport is very far, and because the hotel is down a small lane, you need to walk about 200 m to find a taxi. Service is pathetic: the receptionist won't even call a taxi, and the guy at reception seems clueless when you ask for anything. Please avoid this hotel. Families should pay a little more and choose somewhere better. Staying here could ruin your vacation. I don't understand how anyone who has stayed here could give it more than one star.

Breakfast was included, and they can bring room service for all three meals if you order. The Wi-Fi speed was decent, and they even delivered a newspaper to my room in the morning. My room was clean, though the walls were broken in a few spots. It's good value for money. The hotel sits a little way down a lane, but Park Circus 7 Point is only about a two-minute walk away.
