Emarald Hotel Calicut

Dear Emarald Group of Hotels, I stayed at Emarald Hotel Calicut with my wife and our 4-month-old baby. A couple of things made the stay inconvenient, and I hope you’ll review them and improve communication and guest handling. One morning, I told reception we’d be going out early and coming back later. My booking included breakfast, but nobody told us it ended at 10 a.m. I only got a call at 10, when the service was about to close, so we couldn’t use the breakfast we had paid for. There was also an uncomfortable situation late one night. I returned around midnight and asked for a bottle of water. Staff brought it but insisted that I pay right then. I asked to settle it at checkout, but they wouldn’t agree, even though I was there with my infant. Thank you for your attention and understanding. I’d appreciate you considering my experience and an appropriate response or gesture of goodwill.

We felt welcome and relaxed as soon as we arrived. The staff took care of everything, and the atmosphere was lovely. It was a refreshing break, with good service. Highly recommend 👍

It worked well for a family stay. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Being up on the top floor of a mall also gives the hotel a nice city feel.

The staff kept being rude and treated us as if we were staying for free. Their service was really bad, and they don’t know how to respect customers. I’ll never recommend this hotel or go back. It was the worst experience I’ve had.
