Nanda Lodge

The AC in the room I booked wasn't working. When I raised it with reception, they were rude. I feel these people are cheaters. Please don't pay the full amount up front, because once they have it, they'll cheat you. Better to avoid this lodge, even though it's opposite the bus stand. I'd also advise against paying in advance at other lodges. Tell them you'll pay after checkout.

The location is the only plus, but it doesn't make this lodge worth staying at. I booked an AC room and the AC didn't work all day. Staff responded badly when I asked about it. They only want your money, and there was no justification for what I paid. Very poor staff and behavior, no respect. Please don't pay the full amount ahead of time. Tell them you'll pay the balance at checkout. My humble request is to avoid this lodge.

The staff were really friendly, and I'd still recommend the hotel. I stayed twice. The room was cleaner on my first visit, though: on the second, there were crumbs on a table and stains on the sheets. Even so, it was good overall.

A good option for families, with spacious rooms and very friendly staff. The lodge is right across from Mettupalayam bus stand, and its prices were comparatively low next to other lodges. No meals are provided, but there are lots of restaurants just outside. I'd recommend it.
