I booked Winnie Lodge at the last minute and they accepted without any trouble. Since I was travelling alone and arrived at night, the owner kindly let me have the whole room, which was listed at ₹1500 for three people, and lowered my rate to ₹1000 per day. The service was good throughout, and the facilities felt decent for the price. I was comfortable and felt safe. My only suggestion would be to bring the food prices down a little. I'd recommend it.
Jenny, the owner, has kept Winnie lodge beautifully decorated and well maintained. Hygiene is my main concern when choosing a hotel or homestay, and cleanliness here was properly looked after. The prices are reasonable, and all the staff were polite and cooperative. I'd definitely recommend the place without hesitation.

For a quiet holiday away from crowds, this place is a good choice. The rooftop bamboo hut and balcony view were lovely, and the homely atmosphere, clean rooms, and smiling staff helped make real memories.
The balcony and terrace have the best views of shillong city. I really enjoyed the space during the few days I stayed here. It's a nice, cozy place with good amenities, and the owners and staff are all kind and lovely. Had a great stay ❤️.
