It’s handy that the hotel is on the highway, but it feels more like a serviced room than a hotel. There isn’t much to it, so don’t expect much. It could work if you only need somewhere to sleep before leaving in the morning. Still, check with the hotel before you arrive. My Oyo booking didn’t mean they would actually give me a room, and I ran into problems.
I like the chilly paneer at Madhuban. The food is better than at other nearby hotels, and the service and staff are decent. A vegetable dish costs around 120-150, and a full meal for one averages 180-200.
There are AC and non-AC rooms, and you can get a filling meal all under one roof. Worth a visit if you want to try Ujjain’s food.
The rooms are good, but the service is poor. The TV and wifi don’t work, and water builds up on the bathroom floor without draining promptly. The place needs improvement.
The food was okay, but half the menu items weren’t available. The staff were rude, and the restaurant was poorly managed.
