Parwar Hotel

There were four of us from France, and we arrived on Thursday 30 Nov for one night. We liked it so much that we stayed two more nights. Our two-bedroom suite was as big as a flat, with two bathrooms, and it was cleaned every day. The breakfast had lots of choice, like in the picture, and the view over the city from the top was lovely. The big heated pool was empty, which was amazing. All the staff were kind, helpful, and quick to respond. I'd come back if I'm in Duhok again.

From the moment we walked in until we left, everyone at Parwar Hotel was professional, friendly, and helpful. I stayed for two nights, and the staff went above and beyond. Highly recommended.

Parwar Hotel was very clean, and the reception team were friendly. The swimming pool was nice too, and the gentleman looking after it was very kind. The breakfast area allowed smoking, which I found unpleasant and surprising, especially with children around. My family left breakfast early because of it, and separate smoking and non-smoking spaces would improve things a lot. At checkout, we had to wait for the minibar to be checked even though I'd already said I took two items. I was also told I couldn't pay in US dollars, although the prices were listed in USD. Clearer payment rules and more trust in guests would make a difference for international visitors.

For 37$ through booking.com with the Genius discount, I got a room with a modern feel that was very clean. There's also a pool and gym. It's the best budget stay in duhok for me, without major compromises.
