The host was great, and self check-in was easy. The place was spotless and modern, with a clean, comfortable bed. Rainbow Street in Reykjavik and the surrounding areas are about a five-minute walk away. Can’t fault it, I’ll book again next time I’m in Reykjavik.

The rooms are cozy and clean, and the location is the big draw. There are 10 rooms in total, but I almost never saw anyone around, so it never felt crowded.

The place was charming and spotless, and the owner was really helpful. Getting luggage up the steep steps was the one hassle, though the friendly cleaner helped us on the way in. Great location, too.

We could walk to many of the places we wanted to see, and the other guests were friendly too. Gudrun was so kind and gave us lots of useful tips for making the most of our trip to Reykjavík. Her guesthouse was beautiful, and we loved having the sweet cat around. A great stay.
