The design is stunning, and the interior really is impressive. The fresh pineapple dessert was surprisingly excellent, too. I also spotted Giovanni Malagò at a nearby table, which added a bit of atmosphere. As a vegan, I found the options extremely limited. The staff didn’t make much effort to suggest adaptations or alternatives, and I left hungry, which shouldn’t happen at this price. Service was slow throughout: the bread arrived very late, and the pacing felt inattentive rather than relaxed. On the phone, I was told dogs weren’t allowed apart from one under 3kg. That seemed oddly specific, especially in a space that otherwise looks suitable for a calm, well-behaved dog. Beautiful setting and one memorable dessert, but the service and lack of flexibility around dietary needs make it hard to recommend as a “top class” restaurant.

We stayed on BB, and breakfast was amazing. We also chose to eat dinner in house, which turned out to be a great choice. The a-la-carte food was divine, especially the deer steak, wagyu burgers, Porcini Tagliatelle, and beetroot ravioli, a local special. At Lodge Alvera the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were super kind and helpful. 100% recommend ☺️

I forgot my sunglasses at the hotel and tried to contact them several times. At first, it seemed they couldn’t find them, and the hotel was due to close the next day. But seven days later, they told me they’d found them and sent them back from Italy to Thailand. Thank you so much. That really changed my opinion about hotels in Italy. I highly recommend this hotel in Cortina d’ Ampezzo. It has a nice view, good accommodations, and very helpful staff.

We chose the Dolomites for our wedding elopement, and Dolomití Lodge made us feel completely at ease from the moment we arrived. Veronica and the rest of the team up front were so warm and friendly. This place now means a lot to us, and we can’t wait to come back. Our junior suite had plenty of open space and an in-room sauna, and the mountain views were unbelievable. The amenities were great too: a nice, quiet gym, a beautiful pool, a relaxation room with spectacular views, and a wonderful spa. The restaurant is top notch. Breakfast had lots of great options and excellent service, and the dinner menu was fantastic with plenty of really good wines. We especially loved the gnocchi, green spaetzle, and strudel. Special shoutout to Guilia, who took such good care of us throughout our stay.
