8/10
The breakfast was decent, especially the pastries, and the staff were kind and helpful throughout. I arrived before the stated check-in time and they helped me get into my room a little early. When a minor issue came up during my stay, they responded and sorted it out. The room was spacious, with high ceilings and a very comfortable bed. The hotel is beside the tram, and most major sights are an easy walk away, so getting around was simple.

I liked being a little outside the busiest part of town. It was more peaceful, and the main sights were still only another ten minutes on foot or by bus. The T2 tram to and from the station stops right outside, and a major bus hub is about an eight-minute walk away. The hotel itself has a nice design, and for the price it’s very good and well maintained. The staff were exceptional, and breakfast was fantastic.

The breakfast at Hotel de la Pace was the most impressive I’ve had at a hotel, and the bar did great drinks and coffee. Our room was beautiful and clean, with large bright windows, a comfortable bed, and a roomy bathroom. They washed our laundry and returned everything in great shape. The concierge and bartender were kind and welcoming. We could walk to the Accademia Museum (Michelangelo’s David), Uffizi Museum, the cathedral (Duomo & Bapistry), and Medici Palace in 10-15 minutes. My husband and I stayed at several hotels during our trip through Italy, and Hotel de la Pace was easily the best. I can’t recommend it enough.

The breakfast was a 10/10 for me. Our room was clean and nice, and the area felt quiet and uncrowded. Great hotel!

The staff were amazingly helpful, and having a little tram stop right nearby made getting around easy. We picked this hotel for its location and were very happy with how much of Florence we could reach from there.
