The host was gracious and quick to respond, and we loved the apartment. It was spotless, in a cute neighborhood, and close enough to walk to all the sights, including SMN train station. I’d happily stay in his apartments again and recommend this one to others.

We slept really well because the apartment was so quiet. Alessio checked in now and then to make sure everything was okay, and was very attentive. It’s right in the heart of Florence, about 10 minutes from most of the main sights and the central market, which we loved. We didn’t cook, though the facilities were all there, and the little balcony was lovely for morning coffee.

Alessio was kind enough to ship my iPad to the US after I realized I’d left it behind only once I’d left Italy. I know that’s more complicated with electronics, so I really appreciated it. The place was charming and perfectly located, and we could walk to most places. Would definitely recommend :)

The location is very good, but the room needs repainting and there was quite a bit of dust on things that aren’t used regularly, like the bathroom heating. The photos also look about five years old.
