The pool was great, but on hot days the ground gets so hot that getting in and out is difficult. The rooms were nice, service excellent and breakfast great, and the staff were lovely. The location is okay, within easy walking distance of the city centre. Taxis from the centre were a pleasant ride and only 17 euro each time. I thought the place felt a little creepy when we first arrived, but it grew on me.

The hotel has a quaint feel, and breakfast is delightful. Don't skip the eggs. Staff are always friendly and glad to help. It's about a 30-minute walk to the city centre, and 20 minutes to the best views in Florence at Michelangelo Point. Just be aware there are no fridges in the rooms.

The rooms with terraces look out over Florence and the Duomo, and this quiet neighborhood is a lovely setting for the three-story villa. It's run by a family, the parents and their three sons. Breakfast has a range of meats and breads, and eggs are cooked to order at no extra charge. Nearby bus stops make it easy to reach the heart of Florence with a pass you can pick up at the main train station. I first found this place ten years ago and have been lucky to return. People I've recommended it to have enjoyed their stays too. If you appreciate well-made cabinetry, you'll love the details here.

There’s a beautiful terrace with city views, and the hotel has its own parking. The rooms are extremely clean and the staff very friendly. A bus to the city centre is right nearby, or you can walk there in about 25 minutes.

The owners are hands-on and make you feel like family. The rooms are large and beautiful, and the grounds are incredible. Set on a lovely hillside outside Florence, this was our favorite hotel in all of Italy!
