Room Inn

We were a family of four and walked about 15 minutes from the train after arriving from the airport. The train cost 33 euros one way for all of us, and we only had small backpacks. The place was easy to find with Google Maps: through the huge wooden doors facing the 'square', left, then upstairs to the first floor. The host met us and was a top bloke, with much better English than my Italian. Breakfast was ace, and the location was brilliant. It can be noisy, but that comes with staying in a lively part of Milan, and the host had provided earplugs. Great place, great host, 6 out of 5 stars. Highly recommended.

The early morning noise in the courtyard was the only downside, as local restaurants used it for service. Otherwise, the room was comfortable and clean, and Giacinto made us a delicious handmade breakfast. He was happy to suggest places to visit during our overnight stay in Milano. His place is cute, private, and cozy, and with just two rooms in the inn, the experience feels very personal. Giacinto was an amazing host. Highly recommended!

The beds were so comfy, and breakfast was delicious. The hotel is central to everything, with the metro right outside to make getting around easy. Our host was wonderful, kind, and helpful. I couldn’t have felt more welcome, and we’ll be back.

I was in Milan for business in February 2020, back when life was still normal. The apartment, which is much more than just a room, felt welcoming and cosy even with the street below buzzing with people. I’d happily stay here again when I come back to Milan for pleasure.
