The Dream Suites

The room was tiny, just a queen bed in Room 1, but it was clean, the water was hot, and the pressure was great. The AC was nice and cold. The bed, though, was like a brick, really hard, and that's why I couldn't stay here again. The train rumbled the room a few times each hour, so light sleepers should know that. They say it's a “B&B,” but there's no breakfast. The room was cleaned and made up on day two, but not day three, which was odd but fine since we weren't messy. For the low price, it was worth it and did the job.

The room was neat and nice, and the bed and bathroom were good for the number of people we had. We loved being close to public transport, with the metro and tram nearby, and a quick walk into the Dome city centre. We also had tiramisu at Like Mike, just across the road. It was delicious, a must-have if you stay here. We had a lot of luggage, so it was great not having to climb a bunch of stairs to reach the room and reception. Entry to the building uses an electronic card, and you need enough battery on your phone. There's a separate card for the room. We did have to wait to get in. Reception seemed unstaffed during the day, with people there when arrivals and departures were expected. No one was there when we arrived, even though we'd informed them beforehand, and that brought the experience down a bit since we'd also been in touch earlier that day.

The tram stops right outside, and restaurants, shops, and the city centre, about 1 km away, are all within walking distance. It's a great base for getting around town. The staff were friendly and really went the extra mile. Thanks for all your help, and sorry we didn't know any Italian. Would absolutely recommend it.

The host was kind and helpful, and our room was great, clean, and well furnished. They'd even provided a toiletries kit, a thoughtful touch. It's a nice location, about a 15 minute walk to Duomo. I'd recommend it 10/10.
