I booked through booking.com, then the owner called and asked me to cancel because of something urgent. My stay was two months away, so those dates could have been blocked before I booked and saved me the trouble. Now I have to start over and find another hotel.

We found the room spotless, spacious and well soundproofed, with both heating and cooling. There’s a lot nearby: shops and cultural sights all around, Naples Underground across the street, and Via San Gregorio Armeno 100 meters away. It’s a 25-minute walk from the Central Station and five minutes from Dante Metro on Line 1. Alessandra was a great host, and breakfast at the lovely cafe downstairs was great too. The downsides were the lack of a TV and the broken elevator. A few more pillows and extra electrical outlets by the bed would help.

We only stayed one night, but we’ll definitely choose it again next time. The place was spotless, tasteful and in a great location, and the service and little touches were lovely. Everyone was so kind. Many compliments!
