Sofia Rooms

There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and the train station is close, which made getting around convenient. Finding the exact building took a while because the apartment sign could be clearer. The owner gives detailed directions for the keys and check-in, though payment is cash only.

The room itself was clean and okay, but I didn't feel safe there and the setup looked bizarre. The shower in the bathroom could use some work, too. Getting inside was a mess. I waited outside for an hour and a half, called as the information pack instructed, and was told to wait a moment. After ten minutes with no update, I called again and only then heard about “some techinical difficulties.” I waited another hour for someone to come open the door, but nobody did. In the end, another person opened it from inside.

Good morning, my friend.

The rooms felt warm and welcoming, and were clean and quiet. It was also handy to have somewhere to leave our luggage at check-in and check-out. The place is in the historic center, and we had an excellent stay.
