The apartment was really nice, and we had a good time there. But breakfast service was awful. There weren't many options, and the people preparing eggs didn't seem to know how to cook them: the scrambled eggs were dry from overcooking, while the fried eggs weren't cooked enough. They also added far too much salt. It was disgusting. The short-haired, mature woman working at breakfast was extremely rude. She kept complaining about guests and made us feel uncomfortable. Breakfast runs until 10 AM, but when I asked for more hummus at 9 AM because the small bowl was empty, she said, “No, no more for you. I won’t give it to you.” On checkout day, while we were still eating breakfast, she came over and told us we were leaving that day and needed to hurry. The staff were actively trying to rush us out of the hotel. The treatment was awful and unacceptable. Evaluate your employees!

The hosts were lovely, the location was perfect, and breakfast was good, with excellent coffee. We’ve just finished a lovely ski week at Planaces. The kids’ ski school in Ortisei was top notch, and there are fancy restaurants in town and a nice free terme within walking distance. At -8 degrees, our evening by the fire at Caffe Four was perfect. I recommend a light dinner there. We plan to come back in summer sometime.

We stayed for a week and really enjoyed it. The hotel is right in town, with two grocery stores next door. The family running it were very friendly and helpful, and gave us good suggestions for hikes and things to do. Our room was clean and well put together, and we loved relaxing on its balcony after long hikes. I’d definitely recommend the place.
