Casale San Marco BB

We spent two nights here and rested really well. The place was clean, well looked after, and had everything we needed. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. It's between Perugia and Gubbio, reached by a dirt road that isn't too much of a nuisance.

The dirt road and slightly out-of-the-way location take a bit of effort, but the stay is worth it. The owners are kind and helpful, the rooms are spacious and beautiful, and the price is fair. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of variety. It felt more like staying with friends than being guests. Highly recommended.

The mattress was the one problem for me. It seemed very old, with springs you could feel against your back, and it sagged so much I couldn't rest properly. That's a shame, because the rest of the experience was fantastic. We were there for one night. The woman and her father were incredibly kind and immediately brought us what we needed to be comfortable. The rooms were wonderful, the place spotless, and breakfast was very generous. The road in was a little winding.

Michela was so warm and helpful that the place felt like home. We had a lovely holiday, knowing this B&B would be there to welcome us. It's a renovated old farmhouse with three rooms, each with a private bathroom, a garden among the olive trees, and a small pool. Breakfast was varied and incredibly plentiful. Thanks, Michela.
