The location was the one excellent thing about this hotel. The owner seemed kind, but kindness alone doesn't keep a hotel in good condition. The place isn't suitable for families, especially families with children. Our room was small and not very clean, and some things didn't work. The shower was very narrow, the bidet was clogged, and the mattresses were old-fashioned, with pillows that were practically nonexistent. It was noisy at all hours, and breakfast was poor quality. The outdoor pool wasn't a real pool, and parking at €15 a day was ridiculous.

We had a very satisfying three-night stay with friends. The hotel was tidy, well cared for, welcoming, and in a great spot just steps from the sea and one of the city's main streets. Despite that, it was quiet. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful, the rooms were clean and neat, and breakfast had plenty of variety and food. A special mention for Mr. Gino, the night porter. He was always smiling, so kind, and ready for a chat when we got back from our evenings out. He made us feel at home. Highly recommended. Mr. Gino, we'll be back! 😁 The Venetian girls, Maria, Marika, Alice, Anna, and Martina 🫶
