The first night, noisy neighbors were shouting, and I told the host it was impossible to sleep. I didn’t sleep at all over my two-night stay, was exhausted, and couldn’t be active over the following days. Two days of my trip felt wasted. At first everything seemed fine. I’m not very picky, and can put up with a small bathroom or no towel hooks. The room was clean and communication was pleasant. But there was no soundproofing and no other solution, so I canceled the reservation. They said it wasn’t a valid reason for a free cancellation and didn’t handle my concerns properly. I had to sort it out through Airbnb. I’d been unsure whether to recommend the place, but after the whole experience, I definitely wouldn’t. Avoid it. I really regret not checking the reviews here before booking.

The location is very convenient, which I guess helps places like this get away with such poor accommodation. The first room was coffin-sized, with no natural light because the window blinds couldn’t be raised. The toilet wouldn’t flush, and everything else was dated, rusty, broken or extremely poor. The second room we were eventually moved to was better than the first, though still dated and unappealing. The staff there were helpful, much more so than the owner, Signora Cinzia. An appallingly bad stay.

The room for two was really tiny, and the bathroom shower was so cramped you couldn’t turn around. Supplies were very limited: just one small shampoo packet to share between two people for two days. The online listing said breakfast was included, but when I asked, I was told it wasn’t a B&B. Not a happy stay.

Very disappointing. The host didn’t meet her obligations and didn’t provide the advertised breakfast coupons or water bottles. The toilet leaked and the floors weren’t clean. They only pulled the sheets up, didn’t really make the beds, and left the room garbage. It felt like they wiped the surfaces to impress, without doing a proper clean.

The location was the only reason I gave this B&B two stars. I stayed for four days in May. The person who greeted me didn’t understand English, and the rooms facing away from the street were dark. The sheets smelled bad even after they were changed. Breakfast was at a nearby bakery, but it was closed on Monday, so we got croissants that were past their expiry date instead. Wi-Fi was slow and didn’t reach the whole accommodation properly. For this price, I expected a lot more.
