We paid $80 a night and got a spacious room with air conditioning, a mini fridge, and a really comfortable king bed. The neighborhood is quaint, with restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores close by, and most of Rome’s major sights are within walking distance. This place is amazing.
They greeted us warmly, and everyone was friendly. We felt at home, and the rooms were modern, clean, and nicely sized. The bathroom and shower were comfortable and modern too, and the AC worked really well. Free espresso throughout our stay was a nice touch. The TV, though, was tiny, about the size of a big laptop screen.
Mauro was happy to offer sightseeing tips and help us practice Italian. Our room was tidy, clean, and well furnished, with a strong internet signal. There was water in the fridge for when we came back thirsty after a long day exploring Rome. Breakfast was good too, served in a cozy spot.
The location made it easy to get to the city center and the places we wanted to see in Rome. Our room was large and spotless. Towels, shampoo, and the other basics were provided, and there was even an iron if we needed one. Breakfast was simple, but available around the clock.
The listing says bed and breakfast, but when we knocked at 9am nobody answered. We hadn't been told we needed to let them know the night before. We also asked about the listed laundry service when we arrived, only to learn there wasn't one. The room, a junior suite, was incredibly small, with a tiny wall-mounted TV. There was no air conditioning, just a fan. WiFi was slow and missing from the network list on three of our four devices. Adding it manually didn't help. It finally worked at random on one device on the second day. Finding the address was easy, but getting inside was a hassle. Their long email told us which street buzzer to press, but that name had nothing to do with the place. Another tenant let us into the building, and there was no sign or name on the door. We waited and searched for about 15 minutes before a woman who worked there happened to come down the hall. It wasn't awful, but it was pretty mediocre, nothing special.
