We paid a lot for one night, and the room and bathroom were awful. The room was dirty and the washroom smelled bad. Breakfast was a joke too, just two cookies and a croissant of who knows what age or origin. Getting inside was a terrible start. We stood outside for 45 minutes with nobody there to open the door. After calling over and over, the guy finally answered, but he didn’t know any English. There was no sense of customer service. Don’t book here.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were great. The location was great too. Just know that breakfast isn’t really included, it’s more of a snacks-and-coffee station.

It’s near Tiburtina metro station and the bus stop. Buses from all sorts of companies come through there, including FlixBus and Rome’s local buses.

We couldn’t get one of the two amounts back after being charged twice for one night. The owner first charged €93 to our bank card, then after we arrived demanded another payment and showed us what looked like fake invoices. It was very late, and we hoped Booking.com would refund us, so we paid another €93. The owner gave us an invoice, but it turned out to be just a piece of paper without accurate information. The accommodation wouldn’t provide invoices with confirmation. Booking.com denied the refund even though we had a bank statement and a cash invoice from the owner. Don’t accept invoices like that or give the accommodation your bank card information when booking. Better to stay somewhere else. If this happens to you too, contact me and we can file a class action lawsuit.
