We had a very bad experience at this hotel, which was presented as “premium” and cost about €200 a night. The hygiene was clearly not up to standard. Our room had a dirty bathtub, an uncleaned toilet and incomplete cleaning. At breakfast, dairy products weren’t refrigerated and we saw moldy cheese. We were travelling with our one-year-old baby, which made this even more concerning. We showed photos as evidence, but no satisfactory solution was offered. In response to your reply, we want to address the actual issues, which are hygiene and food safety, not the surprise you mentioned. We did tell a staff member about the moldy cheese during breakfast. When we arrived, we asked whether we could use a microwave to warm our baby’s food and were told there wasn’t one. We also reported that the jacuzzi bathtub was still dirty after housekeeping had been through. Our dated, timestamped photos show the milk and yogurts weren’t kept on ice, despite what you claimed. The “Do Not Disturb” sign was up only on the first morning. No cleaning was done on the following two days, which doesn’t explain the room’s condition. We also emailed you directly to try to resolve this constructively, but got no reply, even though you responded publicly. We would have preferred a private reply. We did receive a cake as the surprise, but didn’t see any flower petals. There’s no need to exaggerate that detail; it doesn’t help clarify what happened. We never asked for a full refund, only appropriate compensation for the problems. So far, your establishment hasn’t offered any, not even a partial amount. We also question your position on the photographs we shared, since they clearly show the issues. It’s concerning that you say we requested a full refund “without any reason,” given the many problems we experienced and reported. We confirm that we have now officially reported this matter to the relevant Italian health authorities, ASL Roma 1 and carabinieri, and that a case has been formally registered. We remain open to a fair, professional resolution.
