We stayed four nights in May 2026 at Domus Adriani Guest House, which is affiliated with Hotel Adriano and a block away from it. After checking in at the main hotel, a porter took our bags and showed us to the guest house on the fifth floor of a residential building. There are five rooms there. We had room 502, which was quite spacious and had a terrace. I believe all the rooms do. We liked how quiet and safe the place felt, even though it's right in the city center. The air conditioning worked very well, and unlimited bottled water was provided free. The location was excellent for walking: Trevi Fountain took about 15 minutes, the Spanish Steps 20, and Vatican City and the Colosseum around 30. The bathroom, especially the shower stall, felt a little dated, but we managed fine. There is a very small elevator that fits two people, followed by about 12 stairs to reach the guest house. Anyone with accessibility needs should take note. We had a pleasant stay.
Domus Adriano has a lovely balcony view, and the location puts you right in the heart of Rome. The staff at hotel Adriano were very friendly, and the service was good, though there was room for improvement. The room was clean when we arrived, but wasn't cleaned for the remainder of our stay. It was disappointing overall, especially since the place could be great. The room itself was very small and noisy. Getting to the fourth floor was awkward: the elevator only reaches the third, then there are steep stairs, and the stairwell isn't very nice. A number of things in the room and bathroom need maintenance. The shower and sink both leaked, the shower joints badly need redoing, and the door seals were broken. The hair dryer didn't work properly, so I had to borrow one from hotel Adriano. Wires were also hanging behind the TV and desk.
It's set up more like an apartment, with a shared living area stocked with coffee and other things. The place has been newly renovated and is right in central Rome, within walking distance of Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. An elevator takes you to the second floor, then there's another floor to climb by stairs. Someone helped us with our bags when we arrived, so the one flight wasn't an issue. 10/10, would recommend.
We felt welcomed and looked after, thanks to the impeccable housekeeping and staff. The room was comfortable and tastefully furnished, and ours had a balcony with a sea view, so we could keep enjoying Rome's magical atmosphere. The location is ideal in central Rome, with beautiful squares just a few steps away.
I spent two nights here and really enjoyed it. The location is peaceful but still close to the main sights, and the staff were friendly and ready to help. My room was bright, clean, and tastefully decorated, with a terrace. The bed was comfortable and the sheets smelled fresh. The private bathroom was spotless, with soft towels and complimentary toiletries. Wi-Fi was fast too. Good value, and highly recommended!
