Domus RomAntica

The room was basic, but clean and comfortable, and gave me a quiet place to unwind after busy days out. Staff were warm and keen to help, with local tips that made the trip better. This charming three-star hotel has a real Roman feel and good value, though it isn't a luxury stay. The location is especially handy, with the Metro a short walk away and the city's landmarks and lively cafés just a couple of stops farther along. You can also walk to them in 15-20 minutes if you don't mind the distance.

I paid €150 a night and was then asked for another €35 for a towel. I had also paid in full for the room, but was turned away because I arrived after 20:00. When I called, hoping someone might help, the response was rude and dismissive. They gave me no alternative or solution, and acted as if the trouble were my fault. The whole thing felt astonishingly unprofessional and showed very little hospitality. My stay at Domus RomAntica was one of the most absurd and disappointing experiences I've had traveling. A place that shuts out a paying guest at 20:00 is hard to understand. In my view, Domus RomAntica is a poorly managed business with no regard for customer service. I strongly advise anyone considering it to look elsewhere. There are plenty of places in Rome that understand respect and hospitality. If you value your time, money, and dignity, avoid Domus RomAntica.

We had a great three-night stay. Our room wasn't spacious, but it was clean and perfectly fine, and the welcome was very friendly. The location is excellent for exploring Rome, with a 20-minute walk or a 15-minute bus ride. Plenty of restaurants and breakfast spots are nearby, and the park behind the hotel is worth visiting. When our flight was delayed, they were very flexible. Thanks again for the hospitality!

A quiet spot away from the tourist crowds, with a great location, friendly professional staff, and excellent value. I highly recommend it and would definitely come back. Thanks to everyone, keep up the good work 🙏
