Hotel Dorica

We booked it because it’s about a 12-minute walk from Rome Terminali train station. From the airport, we took the train to Rome Terminali Station and walked to the hotel. There was someone at reception from morning until 10pm, so arrival and getting our room were easy. It’s basic but clean, well priced, and in a great spot for walking to most of Rome’s main attractions. We were there in March and could open the window for fresh air. I’m not sure whether AC is available in the summer. Otherwise, it was a good place to stay in Rome.

The rooms were standard, but clean, spacious, secure, and well looked after. The staff were incredibly helpful, full of good recommendations and keen to assist. The hotel’s in a handy spot if you’re happy to walk a little before reaching the major sights. We split our travel between walking and Uber, which was reasonably priced and easy to pick up from the hotel. I’d stay here again.

We were out all day, so this was a perfect base. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, and Roma Termini station is close. We enjoyed staying at Hotel Dorica. The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was great, and the room had a comfortable bed, fridge, kettle, tea, and coffee. The shower was nice too.

Mario gave us a warm welcome and detailed directions to the city’s points of interest. The staff were all helpful and polite. Our room was spacious and very clean, and we’d definitely pick this hotel again on our next visit to Rome. It’s in a great location, close to Termini train station and within walking distance of most major attractions.
