The rooms are simple rather than luxurious, and they're on a lower floor with no view, though smokers can use the courtyard. For the price, though, we thought the value was excellent. Our room was clean and lovely, with the bed made and the room cleaned each day. The young man looking after the place was always polite and helpful. We were there for our honeymoon, and Rome was wonderful. The location is central and we could walk to the Vatican. We were very pleased and would recommend these holiday rooms. We’d rate it a 2+.

We paid €85 for a room for four. It was recently renovated and very nice, with its own bathroom in a shared apartment with several bedrooms. The building is ideally placed for seeing Rome, near both the Vatican City and a metro station.

The owner was genuinely kind, and the place was okay as long as you don't expect too much. It may have some humidity issues, and being below street level made it feel a little oppressive.

We found the room modern and very comfortable, and the service was friendly. There isn't staff at reception all the time, so we waited around twenty minutes for the manager to arrive and let us in. Good value for the money.
