Hotel Ercoli

We only had two days in Rome and were glad we picked this little hotel. Good places to eat are nearby, and everything’s within walking distance. The owner and staff were so friendly. Breakfast was delicious too, with fresh croissants and really tasty coffee. We’d probably book it again if we return to Rome. Thanks for the hospitality! ♥️

This is a nice, quiet area, with a park and attractions within walking distance. The room is small but clean and neat, just right for recharging after being out all day. Staff were lovely, and I enjoyed the simple breakfast, which had what I needed to start the day. I also liked the area, the doorway and the elevator, which gave me a sense of typical Roman housing. I enjoyed my stay and would come back.

A humble place, with comfortable beds, air conditioning, and plenty of light from the windows. The rooms are a decent size but have only the basics, so bring your own conditioner. Don’t expect fancy sheets or marble sinks. The shower drain didn’t work very well, and there was a bit of mold on the hair dryer. Even so, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. The building is beautiful, with good restaurants and gelato nearby, not far from the park, and about a 30-minute walk from the colosseum. The front desk staff were all so kind. William shared lots of recommendations with my husband and me, and stored our backpacks after we left. We could come back and collect them whenever it suited us.

The only drawback was that the mini fridge didn’t work. Otherwise, the room was clean, the air conditioning worked, and the bathroom had everything we needed. Breakfast was simple, convenient, and tasty. The hotel is in a calm, beautiful district, and we found the location so good that we could walk everywhere without using public transport. :)
