The garden deserves a lot of credit, and I enjoyed relaxing beside the small, very clean pool, even though the water was cold. I also appreciated finding a mini fridge in the closet, which I didn’t use, and an extra blanket that came in handy on a chilly night. My room was simple and clean, with a private shower, though the water never got hot enough for me. The Palma was a lucky find after the inner-city “hotel” Napoleon canceled my booking and tried to get me to rebook at a much higher price. I passed Napoleon while I was in town and thought it looked like a dump compared with the Palma. As others have said, the Palma is farther from the inner city and quieter by comparison. There was still construction, even on the property at 9:00pm, a noisy school on the corner, and sirens at all hours that reminded me of NYC. Earplugs helped. There was no coffee in the room or way to make it, no coffee pot, kettle, or microwave. I had to get dressed before I felt ready to talk to anyone so I could buy coffee from the bar downstairs. I also wasn’t keen on the instruction to eat or drink anything bought elsewhere only in my room. I’d have liked to enjoy the rest of the wine I bought with dinner on the terrace or by the pool. The public transport directions were hard to read because the street names weren’t printed clearly. The staff were very friendly, but even with more directions I spent far too long on the wrong bus, train, or subway. Thanks again to Temi, Daniel, and the rest of the staff.

The staff were super friendly, even though we checked in late, and the neighborhood felt nice and safe at night. My wife and I had a wonderful stay at palm gallery hotel. It was cozy and clean, with spacious, comfortable rooms. If we come back to Rome, we’ll definitely stay at Palm Gallery Hotel again. Grazie mille!

There were plenty of restaurant choices nearby, and the location worked well for us. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the Polyclinic metro stop and 40 minutes on foot to Rome Termini. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished, and the staff were attentive and very helpful. Breakfast was basic, though the rooftop and its small pool were a nice place to spend hot afternoons. I’d stay again.

Daniel was a terrific host and concierge. After a long journey, his kindness and warm welcome meant a lot. He was easy to talk to, knew the city well, and offered recommendations to help make the stay enjoyable. His care for the guests showed how much he loves his work. I found Palm Gallery online while looking for somewhere to stay between my flight landing and my Airbnb becoming available. I expected an ordinary hotel, but the experience far exceeded that. It had the charm of a small place that may once have been a home, now welcoming people from all over. The hotel was well maintained and full of character, with nice amenities and a lovely staff. There are pleasant places nearby to eat and try local food. It’s not too far from the city’s main attractions, but far enough away to feel like a seaside town. The price was more than fair for what you get. With the location and staff, I’d wholeheartedly recommend staying here in Rome.

The team is hospitable, and they’re actively keeping the hotel and its rooms and features maintained and updated, which is a real plus. It’s in a nice spot away from the crowds, close to local food traps, and still reachable by public transport, taxi, or a long walk to all the things you want to see. A great hotel.
