The owner is a nice guy and the service was okay, though the place looks better in pictures than it does in real life. It's not cheap, either. The rooms are tiny and feel like something from a prostitute motel. Everything inside is old, dirty no matter how much they wash it, and breaking. Maybe that's the local standard? If you're used to good, new hotels, I wouldn't recommend it. If you just want somewhere near coliseum and public transport and aren't picky, I guess you can stay there.

The terrace view is breathtaking, with the Colosseum, Nero’s palace, and the gladiator’s training school right in sight. We spent 5 lovely days at Parco di Nerone, in a beautiful location with great staff and such a warm, lovely atmosphere. All the main tourist spots are within walking distance, services nearby are great, and the customer service was amazing. We had a blast in Rome, and thank Parco di Nerone for making it such a great experience.

The only real problem was getting checked in. I had told the staff when I planned to arrive, but nobody was there at that time. In a foreign country without Wi-Fi or a phone, I couldn't reach them with no one at the desk. Luckily a nearby restaurant let us use its Wi-Fi, which was the only way to contact the staff. The hotel was opened 30 minutes later. Otherwise, we'd have been out of luck. The stay itself was good. The room was very nice, and snacks were available in the kitchen. The location was excellent, only about 100m from the colosseum.

My So and I stayed here over the Christmas holiday and loved it. The accommodations are very quaint and the location is pretty good. We walked pretty much everywhere except the Vatican, and the metro is nearby and convenient. I'd recommend the place and stay here again.

A nice little hotel less than a minute's walk from coliseum. The rooms are small but very comfortable. Drinks, coffee, tea, and little snacks are all free, a top place for a short break.
