The place looks nice, and I liked being fairly central and close to the Vatican, but it needs some work to make the stay comfortable. The bathroom wasn't cleaned every day and got very dirty after a few days. Then the sink clogged, so washing your hands felt like using a dirty pond 😅. There was a kettle but no cups or tea bags, and the fridge and freezer had food left behind. My room had lockers, but no key to lock the room.

Mr Esam and his wife were lovely and clearly put care into what they do. The location is good, and I appreciated the added security. Thank you.

You get a good base for Rome and Vatican City if all you need is somewhere to sleep, but the setup feels like an apartment divided into shared bedrooms. The beds are cheap, the lockers are small, and the bathroom wasn't very clean. There were no owners or staff around, and the place had a generally odd feel. You get what you pay for.

This is a big apartment rented room by room, so you can hear students drinking through the thin walls. It's dirty, and the place is put together with the cheapest materials, with things already breaking down. Toiletries are just whatever earlier guests left. The owner sets the monthly price as he likes and takes payment straight away. I'd stay somewhere better.
