Hotel Sara

I've never seen a hotel so badly organized, run-down, and above all dirty.

The rooms and bathroom were dated but clean. The minibar was empty, though we could put drinks we'd bought downstairs in it. There was no service on site since we collected the keys and checked in and out at Hotel Nizza. If there was a problem, they were nearby and available to help with anything, including storing our luggage. The location near the center was convenient, but I'd avoid Via Nizza when walking back at night. Via Vittorio Emanuele II is a better way to go before heading toward the hotel. Even though the place was clean, I think the accommodation should cost a little less.

It was definitely a nightmare of a day. In Room 2, the ceiling fan was half detached and nearly fell on me, cutting my foot. They charged for the breakfast buffet, but that wasn't the real issue. Instead of welcoming us at this hotel, if you can call it one, they received us at another three-star hotel and even made fun of us.

The quiet, friendly atmosphere works for couples and for solo guests who want to study or work remotely. TV and Wi-Fi are included in the room rate. The single and double rooms are cleaned daily by friendly, highly qualified staff, and have comfortable beds and pillows. Towels are plentiful and changed daily, and personal hygiene products are included too. For the “very best and strong buy” rates, it seems well suited to longer stays. The location is ideal for a quick visit to Turin's most exclusive city center, and the value goes well beyond the single star shown in the entrance hall. I'd recommend Hotel Sara if, like me, you don't want to spend a fortune for little in return.
