Ca' della Corte Flats

I loved the authentic Venetian feel and the traditional furniture in this boutique hotel. My standard room was on the top floor, with a bedroom and bathroom that were both roomier than I expected while still feeling cozy. The train station is very close, and all the tourist spots are walkable from here. I had a lovely three-night stay. Kate, the manager, was helpful and got back to my requests quickly. I’d recommend this little place to anyone visiting Venice.

I stayed here twice, and both visits were wonderful. The hosts are so nice and the rooms are beautiful. Even though it’s been a while since I was last here, I still think about this hotel now and then. Can’t wait to get back to Venice :)

The rooms were quiet. We hardly heard the other guests, apart from the common areas and two young boys staying down the hall. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and finding our way back in the evening was easy with Google maps on my Garmin and Apple watch. I only realized how much that mattered after getting completely lost with a map about five minutes after we reached the train station. Breakfast was mostly bread, yogurt, and fruit, so I would have liked a meat option such as bacon or sausage. That’s a minor gripe, though: the croissants were warm and baked fresh on site, and the cappuccinos were perfect and plentiful. It was a great place to stay.

The manager went out of their way to help us, explaining how to get to the train station and change trains, and even buying the tickets with us. Our room was charming and we had such a lovely stay. We’ll come back here next time we’re in Venice.
