Hotel Nani Mocenigo Palace

The breakfast was abundant and delicious, and in winter you can eat in the covered winter garden. Our room was comfortable and spacious, with staff coming in during the afternoon or early evening to tidy up and close the shutters against light and noise. We loved the jasmine scent through the halls and corridors. My husband and I stayed at Nani Mocenigo for the last part of our honeymoon after ten days skiing in the Dolomites. We came to Venice a day early because he broke his collarbone, and the staff were so accommodating, upgrading our room and greeting us with prosecco. The charming, quiet Fondamenta Nani is around the corner from the Zattere, convenient for public transport and places like the Accademia, Peggy Guggenheim Collection, and Bar Schiavi. The decor evokes a historic Venetian Renaissance palazzo, with fun contemporary chandeliers and glasswork. There are interior design and architecture books in the public areas to browse. It was a lovely stay, and I'd recommend the place.

Sofia at reception made us feel so welcome for our 10-year anniversary. We arrived early, and she surprised us with breakfast and upgraded our room, which meant a lot. The room was gorgeous, very well kept, and cleaned several times a day. At the restaurant, Irene brought so much warmth and attentiveness to every meal, and she has a great personality. Breakfast was fine, though not spectacular. I'm picky. The service made the stay unforgettable, and we felt really looked after. We'd absolutely return.

We spent three days here with my husband, our two toddlers, and our parents. The hotel is a stunning 600-year-old private home that's been converted into a hotel. Sifat took such good care of us. He had our table set before we arrived each morning, remembered what we ordered, and went out of his way to help with our picky eaters. He made us feel at home. Thanks to Sifat and the team, Irene, Laura, and Meloree. Hope we see them again.

We were so impressed with our minimoon stay right after our wedding that we're already dreaming of returning for an anniversary. Our Presidential suite was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a large balcony and canal views. It was the most beautiful room we've stayed in, in the most beautiful hotel. Staff were warm and congratulatory, and quickly helped with last-minute dinner reservations that met our dietary requirements, as well as figuring out how to get around Venice. The breakfast buffet catered to my celiac disease, and the setting was lovely. The location was perfect, within walking distance of all the major attractions. Thank you for making this a once-in-a-lifetime memory.
