The price is one of the better ones in Venice, and it's very close to Mestre station. The neighborhood isn't great and the facilities are pretty poor, but it works for sleeping. Our room had two good double beds, though a fairly large hole in the window let the wind in. I'd say it's suitable for one night.

For the price, it was quite decent. We booked a room with a private bathroom and were given a larger room meant for four. The toilet was clean, there was hot water, and the bed was comfortable. The owners also let us leave our luggage after checkout. There isn't a receptionist on site, so you need to call the person in charge when you arrive and wait about 5-10 minutes for them to come open the doors. I'd recommend it for budget travelers.

Less than 24 hours before arrival, they suddenly canceled our reservation without giving a reason, even though we had received a confirmation at a reasonable price. They claimed the credit card was invalid without even trying it, although we may have chosen to pay at the property. I tried to contact them through Booking, WhatsApp, and by phone, but got no reply, only a message saying the reservation was canceled. A few hours before check-in, I was left without anywhere to stay. Don't book this hotel for a Venice trip.

They canceled my booking at the last minute, without explanation, after I'd arranged my travel and thought everything was set. They claimed the card was invalid and wouldn't answer my calls. Then, after canceling my reservation, they listed the room again for a price 400% higher than what I'd booked it for a month earlier, even though the hotel had seemed fully booked. This was the worst hotel experience I can imagine. If I could give zero stars, I would. It feels like a total scam.
