Being so close to St. Marks made it easy to get to the main sights, with plenty of places to shop and eat nearby. My husband and I stayed just two nights. The rooms were modern, clean and quiet, and we had an amazing stay. Highly recommend!

The hotel was easy to communicate with before our visit, as well as helpful while we were there. The staff were all really nice, and the rooms were clean and close to everything in San Marco, with St Mark's just a 3 min walk away. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby too. The attached bakery isn’t included, but they give a 10% discount. I had the best doughnut of my life there. I paid 15 euros for an expresso, a sandwich and around 6 pastries. The hotel has a towel warmer, good water pressure and an elevator if you need one. We were on floor 1. The shower took some figuring out: pull the lever, then turn on the shower for the overhead one. Don’t pull the string unless you need help.

The room was surprisingly spacious, especially for Venice, and everything was spotless and well cared for. The service was smooth, and the atmosphere comfortable. Rosa Salva Hotel is in a perfect spot for exploring the city, but still feels like a peaceful retreat. I had a fantastic stay and would definitely return.

The central location near the main St Marks square was fantastic. We hardly heard anything from other guests, so the soundproofing must be good. Our room, C1, was on the top floor of the annex building and was large and very modern. The bed was super king size, firm but comfortable, and the shower was AMAZING. Service was great from the start. Check-in was quick and smooth, and the concierge staff couldn’t do enough to help. We stayed four nights in December 2025. The bells from St Marks Tower did wake us every morning at 7am, but we learned to fall back asleep. It’s part of the experience and romance of San Marco.

For the last four years we’ve visited Venice, we’ve stayed at Rosa Salva. The restaurant and bakery attached to the hotel is the best spot for breakfast. Staff are friendly and helpful with restaurant tips, booking a water taxi and finding porters for luggage. Check-in and checkout were both smooth, and the hotel is in a convenient location. I definitely recommend it and plan to stay there again.
