The staff really made this stay for us. They were super friendly and accommodating, and the location was handy, with boat stops right outside and the main sights within walking distance. The room had a traditional look and was clean, with a good bathroom and no issues with hot water or pressure. Breakfast was simple, but it suited us. The floor was extremely cold, though, and slippers or a rug would've helped (maybe that's just me). I also would've felt better leaving our bags in a more private storage area. Otherwise, it's a pretty ordinary hotel.

The second night, we had no warm water for bathing. I tried calling, emailing, and messaging the hotel several times, but nobody replied until the next day, and we were left without a solution. That lack of response over such a basic amenity was completely unacceptable. Other things made it hard to rest, too. Ferries nearby were noisy, and hotel employees were making disruptive noise early in the morning. Breakfast was disappointing, with too few choices. At checkout, there was no safe baggage storage facility as advertised, which left us uneasy about leaving our belongings. After two nights, I felt taken advantage of and came away thinking the hotel cared more about profit than guest comfort. I would caution people against booking until its operations and customer service improve significantly.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were small, but very cute, and the breakfast was a simple but tasty extra. The staff were all lovely and seemed to genuinely care about their guests. The hotel is on the north side of Venice, away from the main tourist areas, which made for a nice location. You can take a water taxi straight to it, too. Extremely cute place.

The room was clean, and the location is convenient for ferries to the airport and islands. It's away from the tourist center, so the area is quiet. The reception closes in the afternoon, and there's no way to reach anyone in an emergency. On our second night there was no hot water, and nobody answered the phone, messages, or emails. The response we got the next day was unacceptable. We were told this had never happened before and that the manager always responds, etc. Breakfast was poor. Since it's Italy, I expected better quality than supermarket products. Don't stay on the ground floor if you can avoid it, it's noisy, and you can hear kitchen staff at 7 am.
