Everything lined up for a great stay: the location, nearby restaurants and transport, including the water taxi, and amenities like the washing machine, kitchen and an extremely comfortable blanket. Most of all, the host was responsive and great to deal with. We had a problem in the middle of the night, and he came over quickly to help when we called. We also hadn't given him enough notice about our arrival time, but he cleaned the place for us quickly. He's a hard-working, honest host, and that made a real difference. I'd come back, and the price was reasonable. I gave Viva Venezia four out of five stars because the listing says “bed and breakfast,” but the breakfast selection was minimal: tea, coffee, bread and Nutella, set out for guests to serve themselves on top of the fridge. We planned to eat out for most meals while on vacation in Venice, Italy, so it didn't bother us much, and the price made up for it. Thank you, Viva Venezia!

The neighbourhood was quiet, and we could walk to the main train station easily. Franco hat gave us a fully equipped apartment to ourselves, with really comfortable beds, and even put breakfast in the kitchen and explained how everything worked. We only ended up there because the hostel we had booked had shut down. Franco hat sorted us out when we asked in person, and it felt like staying in an Italian home. Grazie Franco, we'd happily recommend it.

I got to make all my pasta with pesto in the kitchen, which was great. The room was comfortable and clean, and so was the bathroom. Franco was a really friendly Italian guy and always ready to help. My first time in Venice, and in Italy, felt like being at home. Grazie mille!

Franco was friendly and helpful, and the place felt like home. Viva venizia is also very clean and close to the main attractions. The price is extremely attractive compared with other hosts in venizia.
