It's spacious and clean, and the best thing is the location, just a one-minute walk from the boat station, which connects to the airport after a short stop at murano. There are two beds in the apartment, but no privacy between them since there are no walls or doors except for the bathroom. The bathroom felt a bit damp and run down. There's a kitchenette and a mini garden outside. The host was very nice, and the place is dead quiet at night. Watch the check-in hours, since there's no actual reception desk. At checkout you can leave the keys behind. Local taxes are due on arrival, but they don't take card payments and give no receipt. The downstairs bed is really wobbly and noisy. Also be careful on the staircase, it has no handrail. I noticed the whole complex was on sale on idealista.com for €360k.

Loved how peaceful and clean it was, and the host was so considerate. You can make your own meals, and the vaporetto is really close. Highly recommend it, we loved our stay.

The apartment has plenty of room for a family, with two levels, a bathroom on each floor, and lots of daylight. There’s cookware, dishes and cutlery, plus an induction hob and microwave. I did notice some dust in drawers and on a few surfaces, and the linen and especially the towels were quite worn and could use replacing. The setting is lovely, in private grounds with well-kept gardens. It’s a quiet, clean residential area, a welcome break from Venice’s busier parts. Orto Vaporetto is only a minute away. From there it’s one stop on the Alilaguna line to Venice Marco Polo Airport and two to Murano Island. Shops and restaurants are roughly a 15-20 minute walk away. Our host knew the local transport well, gave us useful information about Venice, and was available to sort out any problems. The location may feel remote to some: getting to St. Mark's Square takes about 35 minutes by Vaporetto.

The apartment had what we needed, including full mosquito screens on the doors and a blind for the skylight. I’d happily stay again. We arrived in Venice at 9:30 in the morning after not sleeping, and the property manager had the place ready for an early check-in. He was there to register us and get us settled, and had emailed the week before to confirm everything. It’s a quiet residential spot, but we could walk to all the things we needed, from coffee and restaurants to groceries and wine. We got our bearings quickly. We chose it after reading the other reviews, and were really pleased with the stay.
