The breakfast at the ryokan was great, though I was too busy eating to take any photos 😂. There’s a grocery store close by, but Bizen doesn’t have many restaurants, so dinner at the inn might be worth booking. Our room was large, and the place felt cosy, with lovely inner courtyards and some interesting statues. The proprietress was extremely kind. I only stayed one night and wished I could have stayed longer. Ask the hostess about the building’s history if you get the chance, it’s really interesting.
