We were moved here because another place had a maintenance issue, and I couldn’t have been happier about it. The rooms were comfortable, the open-air bath was wonderful, and the dining service was great. A lovely experience all around.

The staff were helpful, and the meals were so generous and outstanding that I couldn’t finish everything. Of the four hotels we stayed at in the Fuji-Hakone-Izu area, this had the best hotel onsen. It seems a bit off the beaten path, and we were the only Western guests there. You can get there by Tokai Bus.

I really liked both the room and the food. The service was very good, and the spa was quite good too.

The service was excellent, and the price wasn’t too high.
