From the garden and terrace, you can really sink into the natural surroundings. It's a shared office with accommodation options and different rooms for different needs. The place is about a seven-minute walk along a mountain path from Rokko Mountain Summit Station, and there's a spectacular view that stretches all the way to Kansai International Airport.
I only tried the coworking space for a day, but the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Everyone worked quietly. My laptop fan gets pretty loud when I'm doing demanding work, so I found myself keeping an eye on the noise a little. The mountaintop view is fantastic. There's a place to eat, and you can also bring your own packed lunch and eat it on the terrace. Coffee costs extra, I think it was 100 yen. Accommodation is available too, and overall it was a really nice environment. There's a nearby parking lot, but it's only for overnight guests. For day use, you need to park a little farther away and walk. I thought that was a nice chance to enjoy nature and get some exercise.
I was glad to be able to work with a view of Kobe from the coworking space at the top of Rokko. It also offers accommodation and is open to visitors. It sounds like they sometimes hold events there, so I'd like to come back.
Up on Mount Rokko, this coworking spot feels like a quiet little corner for creative work. It has a cozy atmosphere and fits Kobe's smart city spirit.
The scenery is lovely, and I can see this being a good place to get away and focus.
