The location is convenient, near a main road, though traffic there can get backed up. There aren't many good places to eat close by, but some options are within driving distance, and Harlow's is handy for a quick grocery stop. The rooms have been renovated, but the air conditioner and fans weren't replaced. The AC has a noticeable stink when turned on. The bed sheets seem to be a Vessel Hotels issue too: they get hot and don't breathe well, as if the cheap disposable nylon fabric makes you overheat.

There’s plenty of free parking if you’re driving, and the rooms are surprisingly spacious for a business hotel. The hotel feels fairly new and is very clean. It’s the only hotel I’ve come across where you’re asked to take your shoes off in the room. Highly recommended in Kurashiki.

If you're heading to Kurashiki, stay here. The staff really try to give six-star service at a three-star price.

Good deal, especially for a last-minute stay at a low price. The room was big and very clean, and the hotel feels family friendly. Breakfast is included, with bread, coffee, and Japanese-style dishes. Staff were friendly, and there are some good Izakayas nearby for dinner.

For a three-star hotel, it’s good value compared with others.
