The room was clean, bright, and nice, with a big window looking out to the sea. I slept like a baby in the bed. The bathroom has been newly renovated and feels very comfortable. There’s AC, a humidifier, a remote-controlled light, and a big TV. Breakfast was delicious, especially the rice. The service was good too. We had to reschedule for personal reasons, and they kindly helped us do that. The outside of the hotel looks a bit old, like it’s been there a long time. I visited in spring, and it was drizzling, so I couldn’t try everything, but they also have free rental bicycles and BBQ service.

The room was lovely, with a sea view, and the resort itself was nice. It’s very isolated, though. We had to walk from the train station because there were no taxis available.

The room floor is tatami, and there are armchairs, closets, and a big TV you can use for Netflix or YouTube. The bathroom has a good-sized tub. Huge windows bring in lots of light and give you great views of Onjuku Beach, though sliding panels and blinds let you block the light. We paid ¥10,800 for one night in a twin room for two, with a delicious Japanese breakfast served in the room in the morning. You can get a discount by showing your COVID-19 vaccination certificate. There’s also a barbecue spot outside, with restaurants and stores nearby for food and other things. It’s a very popular hotel, so book well ahead. Really recommended.

It’s a quiet, peaceful spot in a picturesque part of the beach, and we really enjoyed our stay. A lovely way to take in the coastal views. If you’re visiting the area, I recommend booking the home-cooked breakfast too.

There’s a 711 nearby and a couple of great restaurants. The beach is okay, but the water gets rough, the waves are a little scary, and the many clams and shells can hurt your feet. Also, there are so many giant spiders around town. Avoid the narrow little trails and stick to the main roads lol. The little resort is convenient and comfortable, with a traditional feel and contemporary touches. The room is cozy and has a fantastic view. There are several shower and bath options, a fridge and freezer, kettle, tea and coffee, plus a communal microwave in the hall.
